The Bahamian gold and silver coins are available in proof sets for collectors as well as jewellery set as pendants, earrings and rings.
The silver treasure coins are known as “pieces of eight” and the gold treasure coins as “doubloons”. Many of these coins date back to the time that Coin of the Realm was constructed in the 1700’s. Every coin is unique in its shape and striking. They were struck between crudely made engraved dies bearing the King’s shield and a Jerusalem cross.
Ancient Greek & Roman Coins have captured the eye of collectors through the ages. These coins with their depiction of Ancient Gods, Mythical Heroes, Emperors and Kings have inspired us to think back on a time of legend and epics.
